Boulder, Co. — Former attorney general, John Ashcroft was in town Tuesday night speaking at the University of Colorado. The event was sponsored by the CU Student Union’s Cultural Events Board and drew a crowd of about 500. The talk was entitled “Freedom and Security in Post 9/11 America”. For a modest $5.00 ticket price the public either paid to listen, or heckle this former Bush official. At times the heckling was non-stop.

Before filing into the auditorium students and the general public were searched by police and striped of all video cameras, audio recording devices, and liquids of any sort. Still cameras were however permitted.

With in a few minutes into John Ashcroft’s speech, a group of silent protesters from Students for Peace and Justice stood up in unison and turned their back on him baring stenciled white shirts with the words “Shame” and “How would a real patriot act.” Tied over their eyes and mouths were American flag bandanas. The group would remain standing quietly for almost 10 minutes before being asked to sit down or leave by event organizers.

Ashcroft paid no attention to this group of students and proceeded with the message he came to deliver. Like a salesman trying earnestly to get you to buy his snake oil he peddled sales pitch, after sales pitch. It was like watching a Fox newscast on steroids.

As the speech progressed, it became quite evident that those in attendance would not stand for Mr. Ashcroft’s feeble attempt at convincing the audience he was indeed a constitutionalist, and that the Patriot Act which he helped pen did not violate the Bill of Rights. This rhetoric often resulted in loud gasps, and angry shouts from those in the audience who disagreed. The former attorney general jokingly responded to such outbursts by insinuating that they may need “medical attention”, or smugly proclaiming that maybe they just “need to be medicated.”

One would wonder what Ashcroft was expecting when he agreed to speak at CU in Boulder, Colorado, which boasts a large Libertarian population. Not only are they aware of what’s written in the Constitution they are also quick to point out that it was originally drafted on hemp.

Judging by the mild applause that Ashcroft received, probably half or less then half of those in attendance actually supported him. However these supporters were no where to be found during question and answer time as the disapproving majority jumped in lines behind the microphones in order to seek answers to their Constitutional concerns.

The questions were fierce, direct and well researched. No one held back. They asked him about torture, our reputation in the world, the missing Weapons of Mass Destruction, and how we failed to capture Osama Bin Laden. They defended the Bill of Rights admirably, and spoke about the founding fathers.

Unfortunately Ashcroft did everything but answer the questions. The crowd intently watched the stage as this lawyer danced in the rain without getting wet. However avoiding the questions only infuriated the crowd and soon dozens of people just began shouting questions to Ashcroft. That’s when the question and answer session ended. For some reason Mr. Ashcroft thought that he could come to the front of the stage and maybe sign some autographs, and that the persistent questioners would simple turn around and leave now that the question and answer session officially was ended. Was he ever wrong! More than three dozen people met him there at the front of the stage demanding answers, and after only one autograph John quickly fled backstage.

It was a tough night for John, he certainly had to work for the $20,000 that he was paid for his attendance. You can watch all the nights events in the video below which was released by WeAreChangeColorado.org and TruthAlliance.net. However not all of the protests and confrontation methods can be attributed to these two groups, as there were other protest groups at the event as well. Including vflog.com, Students for Peace and Justice, and numerous concerned citizens not affiliated with any group.

The above video interview is a total of 41 minutes and is uncut, presented in its entirety, it was conducted by WeAreChangeColorado.org and TruthAlliance.net at the Iliff School of Theology and focuses entirely on Dr. Griffin’s views on Global Governance.

Dr. David Ray Griffin came under fire a little over a month ago concerning a few statements he had made regarding the need to move toward a form of global government in the video clip shown here.

Many people within the movement gave Dr. Griffin a considerable amount of grief for his comments and position on Global Governance, and rightfully so. The very idea of the centralization of power on a global level is a hard pill to swallow. Especially for those of us who understand the magnitude of corruption, and despotism that already exists within the global power structures, currently in operation today. Dr. Griffin said it best when he said “Now, for many people, this scares the bejezzues out of them.”

WeAreChangeColorado.org and TruthAlliance.net are two organizations that get chills when thinking about the very real possibility of Global Government, and requested an opportunity to speak with Dr. Griffin on this topic while he was present in Colorado for a speaking engagement held in mid October, that was graciously organized by Colorado911Visibility.org. This interview was conducted at the Iliff School of Theology and focused entirely on Dr. Griffin’s views on this controversial topic.

Dr. Griffin is a very genuine individual, and it is our belief that he truly desires to see a solution to war and other serious issues facing the nation states on a global level and can only be commended for his work and concern for humanity. Now whether global warming, population explosion, and coming ecological disaster are truly crisis scenarios that demand global governance in place to deal with and advert worldwide calamity, or if it is just another specter dreamed up by the elite to galvanize the population in fear so they will yet again relinquish their God given rights, and sell us on Global Government is yet to be seen.

We can however ascertain through the elites own writings and doings that they want global government more than anything, and are will willingly to lie, cheat, steal, mislead, murder, and even go to war on global scale to obtain their goal. This fact is an undeniable part of our realty. The same people telling us “beware of certain ecological disaster” are the same people who are intimately entwined with the globalist elite. The elite simply can not be liars and our saviors at the same time.

Our questions posed to Dr. David Ray Griffin reflect our concerns, we felt that before Global Government is even to be attempted, or even discussed the powers that be must be fully prosecuted for their crimes against humanity and their power structures dismantled.

A spur of the moment decision by campaign staff and a local State Representative brought presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani to a small Colorado town one hour north of Denver on Saturday where local 9/11 truth activists would take full advantage of the opportunity to confront the former mayor about his potential foreknowledge of the September 11th attacks.

According to the Reporter Herald Giuliani’s staff put a required fundraising minimum on the event of $60,000 in order to bring “America’s Mayor” to the small town. Speaking about the short notice and the minimum dollar amount state Rep. Don Marostica, a staunch supporter of Giuliani’s presidential bid said “They called me last Friday (and) said you have 11 minutes to make a decision, or else we’re going to take him to Lincoln, Neb.,” Marostica’s assurance that he could raise at least the established amount, paved the way for a visit to this small venue that was kept open to the public.

From 9:15am to noon Giuliani would be visiting 3 separate events in the small towns of Loveland and Windsor. The latter two were private brunches in Windsor where local supporters could pay between $1,000 and $2,300 per plate to attend the fundraising event. However the first stop was the Loveland Coffee Co., a small coffee shop no bigger than a modest living room, to greet the public and get a feel for what’s on their mind, a perfect venue for a local 9/11 truth activist group to ask some tough questions regarding the role Giuliani played on 9/11.

Members from WeAreChangeColorado.org and TruthAlliance.net teamed up with New York 9/11 researcher and Chief Editor of the New York Megaphone newspaper Sander Hicks to perform a well coordinated truth action event targeted at Rudy Giuliani. Mr. Hicks was in town giving an interview for the groups as well as speaking at a 9/11 truth event in Denver for Colorado911Visibility.org. After arriving at the Coffee shop a little after 9:15a.m. Rudy Giuliani underwent numerous confrontations with 9/11 truth activists inside and outside during his 35-minute stay at the coffee shop. The highlights can be seen in the above video.

Although police escorted many of the 9/11 truth activists off the private property, none were handcuffed or arrested. They were simply told not to come back on the property in which they willingly complied and continued to protest from public property. In some clips Loveland police look rather aggressive in removing the activists who were extremely frustrated in not being able to finish asking a question to a public figure before being removed. But throughout the ordeal Loveland Police remained professional and even at one point gave an activist over a minute to stand on a chair and shout questions to Giuliani inside the confined coffee shop before escorting him out.

The media coverage of the 9/11 activists at this event was surprisingly fair and thorough, getting airtime on 2 major news networks during their evening, and nighttime newscasts. The coverage online at some of the local newspapers’ websites were very neutral also. The media however did fail to air the groups primary question regarding why Giuliani has publicly denied making a statement to Peter Jennings at noontime on 9/11 that he had been informed that the twin towers would collapse before they did and we wanted to know where he received this knowledge, and why weren’t the fire fighters alerted to this report. Group members even stayed after in which they rigorously debated this fact with Giuliani supporters. See the Peter Jennings video below that sparked this controversy.

Over all the truth action was extremely successful in bringing attention to Giuliani’s potential foreknowledge regarding the events of September the 11th. The police were very professional and the media coverage was considerably more than anticipated. The truth activists demonstrated courage and determination in their roles. In fact the only people who displayed abominable behavior was Rudy Giuliani’s supporters. Repeatedly chanting “tase him” as some activists where non-violently displaying their right to free speech. At one point a Giuliani supporter even went so far as to punch one activist twice in the stomach as he was standing on a chair in the coffee shop shouting questions at Giuliani, a failed attempt to silence him. Not only were those two punches caught clearly on our video camera but were also caught by the local fox cameraman on his camera, and subsequently aired in their segment on the fox nightly newscast. If you’re not looking for it you’ll miss it but you can clearly see the two punches, as well as on our camera hear the truth activist turn to the guy and say “don’t punch me, fool” with a muffled “that’s assault” as the man scurries off. If Giuliani and others cannot answer specific questions put forth by the 9/11 truth community it will only make these encounters more frequent as patriots across the country attempt to hold their leaders accountable in a public forum, by exercising their Bill of Rights as guaranteed in the Constitution.
